Regional Managing Director, Latin America
Mauricio Alonso is senior vice president and regional managing director of Crawford & Company International, Inc. He is responsible for the management of the Latin America and Caribbean regions. Alonso was appointed to this position in March 2005.
Alberto Ortega is responsible for Crawford’s claim operations in Guatemala and also is a senior adjuster for the Company. Ortega graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Nicaragua with a degree in civil engineering. He also studied English at West Virginia University and has participated in a number of industry seminars during his career.
Álvaro Ortega is responsible for Crawford’s claim operations in Nicaragua and also is a senior adjuster for the Company. Ortega graduated from Galileo University in Guatamala with a degree in industrial engineering. He also studied English at West Virginia University, took an executive program at INCAE Business School and has participated in a number of industry seminars during his career.
As general manager in Mexico, Eduardo Kimsi is responsible for Crawford’s claim operations in the country and also focuses on business development among reinsurers from the London market and with the Company’s Global Technical Services group.
Ricardo Valle is general manager for Options and Adjusters S.A., Crawford’s representative in Educador.
José Montes is responsible for Crawford’s claim operations in El Salvador and also is a senior adjuster for the Company. Montes graduated from the University of North Texas with a major in business administration and a specialization in insurance. He began his career in 1986 as an adjuster and then manager with Ajustadores de Centroamerica S.A./Crawford.
Juan Fry is responsible for Crawford’s claim operations in Peru and is an executive general adjuster for the Company. Fluent in Spanish and English, Fry earned a diploma in risk and insurance from The College of Insurance, New York, and has completed a number of industry and executive seminars during his career.
Miguel Stempel is responsible for Crawford’s claim operations in Panama. He handles property, casualty and marine and transportation losses; coordinates large claims with Crawford Global Technical Services(SM); and develops new business for the Company in this growing insurance market.
Pablo A. Campino has been engaged in the development, management and expansion of Crawford Carvallo’s businesses in Chile since 1990, when he became a partner of Estudio Carvallo Ltd.
As country manager, Ricardo Ortega is responsible for overseeing all claim operations in Brazil, servicing client needs, developing new services and products and growing Crawford’s business in the region, including liaising with the country’s growing reinsurance market.
Rodrigo Roa is responsible for Crawford’s claim operations in Colombia and also is a senior adjuster for the Company.
